Summary of Job Duties:
Instruct and evaluate Welding Technology courses with an emphasis on hands-on applications. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure program alignment with industry-recognized certifications and local industry needs
- Understand and comply with UA-PTC policies and procedures.
- Teach courses in accordance with approved UA-PTC syllabi and academic standards
- Participate in the assessment of student learning
- Foster partnerships with industry to support program success
- Identify equipment and supplies which support the curriculum
- Ensure students adhere to safety and disciplinary regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- AWS certification
- Two -Three years of industry experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications, online technology grading platform aptitude, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- AAS Welding or Emphasis in Welding
- AWS Certification
- Three to Five years of industry experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications, online technology grading platforms, and excellent digital, written nd verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
