Summary of Job Duties:
Duties and Responsibilities
Instruct and evaluate Welding Technology courses with an emphasis on hands-on applications. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Ensure program alignment with industry-recognized certifications and local industry needs
  • Understand and comply with UA-PTC policies and procedures.
  • Teach courses in accordance with approved UA-PTC syllabi and academic standards
  • Participate in the assessment of student learning
  • Foster partnerships with industry to support program success
  • Identify equipment and supplies which support the curriculum
  • Ensure students adhere to safety and disciplinary regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
  • AWS certification
- Two -Three years of industry experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, online technology grading platform aptitude, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • AAS Welding or Emphasis in Welding
  • AWS Certification
  • Three to Five years of industry experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, online technology grading platforms, and excellent digital, written nd verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
