We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has experience drawing blood from children, as well as other adults and families. The successful candidate is also detail-oriented and has excellent communication skills. An eye for detail is required for this position, as the successful candidate is responsible for labeling and organizing samples, filing paperwork and communicating results with physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients using the appropriate method for different procedures.
• Assess patient's condition and monitor their reaction during testing.
• Calculate and interpret lab results.
• Prepare patients for testing. Experience: Experience performing phlebotomies from a variety of procedures is preferred.
• Experience handling confidential information is required.
• Experience with professional software packages (i.e. Microsoft Office) is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
