Creative Hands Learning Center is looking for a full time toddler teacher to join our team.
Qualified candidates must be energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible, with a sense of humor and love for children.
This position is from 8:00am-5:00pm (M-F)

The right candidates will need:
- experience working with groups of children ages 1-3 years
- great rapport with families
- understanding of Vermont Child Care Regulations
- creativity and flexibility
- a great love for all children
- a strong work ethic
Duties
Duties will include:
- creating a safe and nurturing environment that supports each child's developmental needs
- be flexible
- strong written and verbal communication with families
- planning and implementing curriculum along side the head teacher
- observations and portfolios
- classroom duties ( cleaning, organizing)
Requirements
Minimum requirements per state regulations:
- at least 18 years old
- high school diploma or GED
- at least a Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder level one or two
- at least a current CDA and 12 months experience working with children grade 3 or younger
- at least a state board of education approved human services program certificate that emphasizes child development or early childhood education and at least 12 months experience working with groups of children grade 3 or younger.
- at least successful completion of the Fundamentals for early childhood professionals' and at least 12 months experience working with children grade 3 or younger
- at least successful completion of 3 college credit course in child or human development or a 3 college credit course for school age care and education and at least 12 months experience working with children grade 3 or younger.
Willing to train the right person!
