Some tasks will require standing in one place for extended periods of time (up to 10-12 hours a day), while others involve walking around the facility, including climbing stairs – comfortable, closed-toed shoes are a must!

What does a Press Brake do?

·Produce parts and tools from metal using press brake

·Use of hand tools like calipers, bar micrometer, squares and protractors

·Must be able to convert decimals to fractions

·Check parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances

·Operate machines with limited supervision

·Ensure work area is kept clean and free from hazards

·Collaborate with other departments as needed

·Assist in department measurable goals relating to production concerns, quality, and efficiency

·Assist in monthly inventory count to ensure proper inventory control

·Actively look for ways to improve the profitability and productivity of the company

·Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, follow instructions, and be self-motivated

·Requires excellent math skills including fractions and geometry

·Requires ability to read measuring equipment, calipers, and other tools

·Requires ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances

·Ensure and verify parts match to customer drawings and provide immediate feedback when problems occur

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 BOE

Shift: 2nd

4:30pm to 1:30am

Steel toe boots required

Must be able to physically lift up to 50lbs repetitively

Must be able to constantly stand, bend and twist for the longevity of the shift

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Must be able to pass a drug screen
