Press Assistant 2 – Roll Enhancer Operator

• Ability to Operate a Roll Rewinder to prepare rolls for internal and final customer use.
• Able to detect quality issues related to the production specifications of the job.
• Review job docket for proper rewinding of rolls
• Ability to lift and install 45 lb. shafts in rolls
• Mount rolls up to 50” in diameter on rewinder
• Continually inspecting quality of product
• Remove start up / shut down waste and provide a processable splice to run through customer’s printers
• Able to identify forms with print and number issues and then take correction action to fix.
• Ensure numbered product is sequentially correct and spliced correctly
• Prepare and strap rolls on pallets for shipping per job instructions
• Document and maintain accurate records of all rolls being enhanced
• Able to troubleshoot issues on equipment
• Follows all safe operating guidelines for equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized

This is a steady 2nd shift position – 3PM-11PM

Shift Differential: $2 per hour (3pm to 11pm)

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.50 to $19.50 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include; overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. Experience in a manufacturing environment as a machine operator preferred but not required.
