Production Operator (Zanesville)

Thermoforming Operator JOB SUMMARY

• Operate any of the thermoforming machines and be able to change molds/tools and get the new product running.
• Operate CNC 5-axis router

Thermoforming Operator JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reliability is a critical - must show up for work on time every day
• Process (dial-in) a new product by adjusting the forming, trimming, and stacking.
• Monitor the quality of the product, take production samples, check for the different quality issues, and document them.
• Ensure the product is properly packed and palletized.
• Change molds/tools in the thermoforming machines
• Achieve target output for parts per day
• Cut sheet (raw material) to appropriate dimensions when needed.
• Run the CNC trimmer as needed.
• Maintain tidy and organized work area and conduct clean up at the end of each shift.
• Help the shift in whatever other needs there might be, such as temporarily helping to pack, move materials, clean, do rework, etc., as instructed by your supervisor.
• Report any safety concerns to your supervisor.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with the other team players.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
• This position reports to the Plant Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
