Earn $15.00/hour.

Our Program Assistant is responsible for general reception duties, including triaging calls and greeting incoming visitors. Coordinate communication between BHNHTD team and individuals. Maintain individual charts, including set-up and filing. Claims processing and reconciliation. Update and maintain Merakey policy and procedure manual. Prepare staff work schedules with assistance from supervisor. Interact with staff, individuals, and individual's family members as appropriate. Work with various computer programs to include, but not limited to, MS Word, Excel, Access, and ADP Platform. Maintain current insurance information on all individuals. Participate in cross training with other specialists as deemed necessary by supervisor. Handles confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Candidates may possess an Associate's degree in a related field, or has appropriate experience managing office responsibilities in a clinical or medical setting
  • Prior experience with: record keeping and filing; phone etiquette, word processing, data entry, report generation, claims processing/reconciliation
  • Possesses or obtain all necessary clearances and background checks to work with designated consumers
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
