Job Description
- Computer programming to support and extend the RSRef / PaStO modules for the atomic modeling of protein structures, fit into cryo-Electron Microscope maps.
- Languages will be primarily Python 3 with interfaces to other modules in C and FORTRAN.
- Develop installation scripts that conform to current best practices for the handling of software inter-dependencies.
- Develop a web site for the distribution of software, documentation and test examples according to licensing to conform to institutional standards.
- Develop interfaces between this package and others, like Amber, used in the structural biology community.
- Assist in the mentoring of research students who might be participating in the project.
Salary
Salary Range: $48,900 - $77,042 Annually
Shift
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Preferred Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science or 1 year of programming experience and a BS/MS in Quantitative Science (e.g. Physics, Biophysics, Math).
