Job Description

JWF Industries, a certified small business and privately owned manufacturer, is seeking a Project Engineer to support the many commercial and Defense projects that comprise the business portfolio of JWF Industries. The position will be based in Johnstown, PA. This position is critical to the planning and execution of projects. The successful candidate must be a technical leader and be able to establish project requirements and ensure the proper implementation of project nuances.

Essential Duties

• Review project proposals to develop project objectives
• Identify project phases and elements of each phase
• Establish specifications for projects
• Understand project requirements and product design intention
• Build a plan within the quoting stage of the project

Education Level

Bachelors degree in engineering or related field

Experience

• Work requires demonstrated Tooling and Layout Design capabilities in a manufacturing environment, and a commitment to Process Improvement.
• Must have the demonstrated ability to resolve problems.
• Work will require a high-level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to prioritize frequently changing priorities.

Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
