This position is first shift, and the Pay rate is $19.00 - $25.00 per hour.

The main purpose of the position is to work with production within the structure of the quality system to ensure the required level of quality and completion for the team which the inspector is working, minimizing the effect of poor quality to the customer, service, and downstream production departments while providing needed feedback for the team to improve.
Our ideal candidate would:

• Perform production quality inspections assigned.
• Create an inspection list using provided documentation / process after each inspection.
• Create monthly quality summary for each department / Quality manager around most common and important areas that can be worked on
• Be a part of applicable production project reviews, providing any needed open, honest, and direct feedback from inspections.
• Work with production supervisors and associates on determining solutions to quality issues affecting production and from quality inspection write-ups.
• Track each inspection’s completion and submission from supervisor, log and e-mail out completed inspections.
• Help evolve the quality inspections and inspection process as needed to optimize effectiveness.
• Perform receiving inspection on incoming parts as needed.
• Perform or assist with incoming Chassis quality inspections and communication with the Chassis team.
• Maintain monthly log of inspected parts for vendor accountability.
• Assist engineering on any special issues or questions.
