A day in the life of a Rebuild General Construction Technical Advisor:

In the role of Rebuild General Construction Technical Advisor, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Assist in project design and planning, including material estimates, scheduling and staffing
• Consult with professional services such as, engineers, contractors during the design phase
• Ensure project complies with all state/local regulations and obtains all necessary permitting approvals
• Create project benchmarks
• Oversee the daily site operations
• Lead the final project stages, such as final inspections and certificate of occupancy
• Manage the project timeline
• Provide timely updates to the Rebuild leadership staff
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must be a Licensed General Contractor and be able to obtain licensing in other states as required
• Certificate from a college or technical school and five (5) or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with all aspects of residential home construction, from layout to final inspection, is required
• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry, standards and processes
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
• Highly effective communication skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to obtain and maintain required trade licenses
• Ability to effectively work on multiple teams
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions

Travel Expectations: Travel Expectation: approximately 50% within the U.S.
