Warehouse Manager

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager who possesses strong leadership and supervisory skills in all aspects of shipping operations. The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Manager will be to ensure the safe, timely, efficient, and accurate loading and unloading of trucks. The ideal candidate will have a desire to lead and coordinate shipping activities, while maintaining product integrity and order fulfillment accuracy. The Warehouse Manager will oversee the shipping and receiving team, manage ERP and AGV operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety policies and Good Warehousing Practices (GWP). This role requires intermediate computer skills, forklift operation expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a clean work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) operations to ensure smooth warehouse processes.
  • Adhere to safety policies and Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) to create a secure working environment.
  • Operate a forklift safely within the warehouse premises.
  • Pull products for shipments, verify loading correctness, and ensure adherence to loading patterns to maintain product integrity and order fulfillment accuracy.
  • Supervise, lead, and coordinate activities of the shipping and receiving team.
  • Organize and deliver shipping-related paperwork, including shipping notices, bill of lading, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities and work assignments.
  • Take responsibility for inventory accuracy, implementing the First In, First Out (FIFO) method for inventory control.
  • Utilize computer skills, including email communication and software for shipping loads.
  • Maintain diligence and a sense of urgency throughout the assigned shift, demonstrating multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment while performing safely and accurately to meet leadership expectations.
  • Ensure a clean work environment, adhering to cleanliness standards and promoting a safe workspace.
  • Pick orders, stack cases, and build pallets on a daily basis for multiple hours.


Physical Requirements:

  • Engage in extensive lifting, walking, and frequent forklift operation.
  • Safely lift 25-50 lbs. of product on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrate endurance and resilience to temperature changes.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and hear audible alarms and notifications for equipment.
  • Communicate issues verbally and in written form, including email communication and filling out required paperwork.
  • Extensive lifting, walking, on and off forklift.


Knowledge Requirements:

  • Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player with strong leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated and resilient to stress, capable of learning new processes and working with existing ones.
  • Execute tasks as expected with minimal supervision while consistently documenting and communicating effectively.
  • Possess effective memory skills and be respectful of tiers of leadership and departmental structure.
  • Take ownership of outbound product integrity, ensuring quality finished goods are shipped to the customer, and regularly communicate any product imperfections to leadership.
  • Exhibit time management skills and a sense of urgency mindset capable of multitasking and reprioritizing tasks to meet communicated expectations.
  • Possess forklift knowledge and proficiency. Two to three years of truck loading and warehouse driving experience is required. Current forklift certification for both electric and propane forklifts is necessary.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
