The Arc of Litchfield County Inc., LARC, is rapidly growing with an exciting new opportunity for an exceptional nursing professional who is ready to join an expanding team. We are looking for a visionary and accomplished RN who can assist with overseeing the nursing program in a rapidly progressing organization. The right candidate for this opportunity must have a Bachelor of Nursing degree or in relevant field, current state of Connecticut RN Nursing license that is in good standing, plus 3-5 years-experience in a nursing supervisor capacity. Must also possess experience working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Working knowledge and understanding of the Department of Development Services (DDS) and Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) Regulations are required. Some responsibilities of this position will include staff training which involves Medication Administration Certification; joining and becoming an essential member of the Interdisciplinary team who will attend Individual Planning meetings and provide nursing care plans at the quarterly reviews; and work in conjunction with the LARC Clinical team, consultants, and other LARC staff members. LARC is looking for an energetic RN who is ready to take on this exciting new role and become a prominent member of the LARC team.

Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Overseeing development of nursing staff.
• Assessing the needs of individuals, family, and staff across the organization.
• Assisting with the budget.
• Participating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed.
• Ensuring the nursing staff is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
