Medical Retail Associate

Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Medical Retail Associate. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting and purchasing medical supplies, equipment, and healthcare products. Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Understand customers' needs and recommend appropriate medical supplies or products based on their requirements.
  • Provide detailed information about products, including usage, benefits, and any necessary precautions.
  • Answer customer inquiries and address concerns promptly and effectively.

Product Knowledge and Merchandising:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of medical supplies, equipment, and healthcare products available in the store.
  • Stay updated with new products, trends, and advancements in the medical industry.
  • Ensure products are accurately labeled, displayed, and stocked on shelves.
  • Regularly monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishing stock as needed.

Sales and Cash Handling:

  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods in accordance with established procedures.
  • Upsell and promote additional products or accessories to enhance the customer's shopping experience.

Product Demonstrations and Instructions:

  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of select medical products.
  • Provide clear instructions on product usage, maintenance, and any necessary safety precautions.
  • Assist customers in trying out equipment or devices and offer guidance as needed.

Store Maintenance and Organization:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, shelves, and display areas.
  • Ensure products are properly labeled, and price tags are visible and accurate.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Follow all applicable regulations, policies, and guidelines related to the sale of medical products.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure the well-being of customers and staff.
  • Stay informed about any changes in regulations or requirements related to medical retail.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical supplies, equipment, and healthcare products is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
