We are hiring for a full time Optometric Technician (OT) to join our busy and growing multi-specialty ophthalmic team.What is an Optometric Technician? OT’s are the friendly staff who are responsible for gathering the patient’s history, medications, returning patient phone calls, and perform specialized eye tests to help assist the Doctor’s medical examination. Applicants must have a friendly professional demeanor, be detail oriented, work well in a team setting, and have a high work ethic. Hours will vary between 7:40 am – 5:30 pm M-F.
NO nights and weekends = great work-life balance! Starting wage $17.31 per hour or more based on experience with full benefits package (18 days of paid vacation, 1 week of extended illness, paid holidays & bereavement, 85% employer paid health/RX and vision, dental insurance, life insurance, a generous retirement plan and more!). Continuing education opportunities and ophthalmic certification advancement available (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant-COA).
