Senior Client Service Associate - Finance

Position Overview:

As a Senior Client Service Associate at FFD National, you will be responsible for overseeing operational tasks and providing expert guidance to customers on their accounts. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism in all your interactions with customers and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist customers with complex questions related to their account activity
  • Collect and update information on customer accounts with a focus on accuracy and completeness
  • Process customer payments and fulfill requests for payoff information
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies and errors in a timely manner
  • Manage collection tasks on customer accounts with a view to minimizing risk and maximizing recovery
  • Secure funds with lenders on financed contracts and prepare reports on funding activity
  • Obtain credit decisions for customers and coordinate departmental communication with other teams
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring they are trained to a high standard
  • Act as a point of escalation for customer complaints or issues, demonstrating a high level of empathy and professionalism in all interactions.

Position Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the consumer finance industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to tailor your approach to different audiences
  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word and Excel
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of successfully resolving complex customer issues
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships across the organization
  • Ability to work independently, taking ownership of your workload and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • High standards of ethics and handling matters of a confidential nature
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
