Basic Function

Plans, schedules and coordinates movement for all renewables feedstock and products, working closely with the logistics coordinator and traders, under limited supervision. Provide additional support to renewables organization ensuring accurate contract pricing and customer service, RFS compliance.

Job Duties


Scheduling/Planned Order:

  • Plans, schedules and coordinates movement of renewable feedstock and product from the source of supply to the point of purchase/sale
  • Nominates feedstock movements and schedules renewable product planned orders in TSW/TMW
  • Maintains scheduled/planned volumes and inventory levels communicating regularly with traders about potential issues
  • Regularly communicates with logistics coordinator, tracking progress of scheduled orders and communicating any issues back to traders and counterparties
  • Regularly communicates with feedstock supplier/finished product customer on movements of renewable feedstock and products.
  • Communicate with logistic coordinator who is tracking all scheduled/planned volumes through receipt/delivery and invoicing
  • Coordinate with the logistics coordinator to address excess supplier or customer cars and possibly assist in preparing detention bills for the scheduler or marketer to present to the supplier or customer.
  • Produce daily inventory positon reports
  • Research demurrage bills
  • Assist with any issues that arise from off-spec feedstock/product, production issues impacting receipt/delivery of feedstock/product, customer complaints etc


May include some or all of the following:

  • Reviews all company contracts and pricing for accuracy, complete and delivered in a timely manner
  • Acts as liaison with traders, customers and other departments regarding contracts and pricing
  • Creates and maintains agreements and master data customer, vendor and contract forms (deal sheets)
  • Updates and maintains a procedure manual for Contracts & Pricing requirements
  • Ensures accuracy of all invoices and cumulative balance are kept at a minimum
  • Obtains all customer/vendor information to set up master data in SAP
  • Liaises with other departments such as Refinery, Credit, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, Tax, and Data Integrity to ensure assigned customers receive excellent customer service
  • Ensures contract and pricing documentation is compliant with Audit and SOX requirements
  • Handles all aspects of issue resolution and facilities clearing month end errors
  • Assists in RFS compliance requirements, generating/assigning/separating/accepting RINs in EMTS, troubleshooting any issues that may arise,

Experience

A minimum of two years of on-the-job experience is required.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.


Required Skills

Advanced analytical and research skills required to analyze various data. Intermediate knowledge of the Company’s business process including but not limited to, loading, transfer, inspection and shipping procedures, product marketing, invoicing, and cash to order business process. Advanced computer skills particularly in MS Excel. Interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills are necessary to create mutual respect with peers and a positive work environment. Knowledge of safety, environmental and transportation regulations and procedures, basic math, reading blueprints, capable of writing effective instructions. Ability to maintain positive and productive working relationship within department and with other departments. Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal communication, ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations, advanced reading and writing skills.


PREFERRED SKILLS:

MS Excel, SAP TSW, BI, ECC functional/end user experience preferred.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

Work Conditions

Office based with occasional site visits from time to time and with travel up to 30% by land and air required. Petroleum refinery/industrial environment, including but not limited to, working near moving mechanical parts and/or rotating equipment, petroleum products, chemicals, pressure vessels, and/or tanks. Subject to varying road and weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

Job conditions require, sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise finger and hand movements, reaching or grasping. Job conditions may require standing, walking, and wearing personal protective equipment (beards not permitted).
