In this exciting role as a Senior Service Depot Manager, you will be responsible for driving adoption and loyalty via patient access to our Medtronic products by providing world class service while driving service revenue growth and profitability. The position supports the Cranial and Spinal Technologies Business which continues to be one of the fasting growing business organizations within Medtronic. This position oversees a team of approximately 30 skilled service technicians and a 5-member Service Engineering team. This role reports to the Global Regions Depot Director.

For this critical leadership role, the scope of responsibilities will include strategic depot planning activities, employee safety and development, work standardization and process flow improvement, supports sustaining and new product introductions focusing on Design for Serviceability, maintaining KPI’s focusing on customer and quality metrics.


A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in service area(s) to meet service goals, focusing on customer satisfaction, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Prioritizes service and repair schedules based on customer demand of Factory Certified Exchange and Customer Capital Repair, utilizing ERP systems, visual cues, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
  • Responsible to develop annual operating plans based upon forecasted demand and business acumen .
  • Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
  • Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the service function.
  • Position will be responsible to ensure global expansion of “Home Depot” repairs are standardized and the Supported depot meets all quality requirements.
  • This position is a key escalation point to resolve immediate customer concerns.
  • Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.
  • Functional Skills: Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
