What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Supervisor of Corporate Accounting, we are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Senior Accountant with proven abilities and achievements. This person will be responsible for various tasks related to month end close, general ledger review, account reconciliations, royalties and other tasks as assigned in support of shared services.
  • Prepare journal entries with supporting documents in support of monthly close process.
  • Reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts. Complete variance analysis.
  • Prepare transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Perform month-end close of sub-module for approximately 36 sub-systems accurately.
  • Open and close general ledgers and subledgers as assigned. Coordinate with treasury team to ensure royalties are paid on time.
  • Prepare intercompany agreement transactions. Ensure variances are corrected timely.
  • Prepare royalty payment calculations and ensure these are in compliance with the agreements. Prepare and distribute final royalty reports to the licensors.
  • Prepare journal entries for monthly royalty accrual, and to account for payments and true ups.
  • Prepare and maintain intangible schedules, reconciliations and corresponding amortization.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Coordinate requested schedules.
  • Align with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Work on intercompany billings and make sure that the intercompany accounts balance at the end of the month.

  • Excellent oral and written English interpersonal skills
  • Able to get along with various levels of management
  • Able to effectively balance multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years equivalent work experience
  • Corporate Accounting experience
  • Proficient using Oracle Business Intelligence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient using Hyperion
  • Experience with a public company requirements
  • CPA
