Title: Shipping Receiving Group Lead
Hours: 1st shift
Payrate: $26-30/hr,
Location: Manchester, NH

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some college a plus
• At least 5 years’ experience in shipping / receiving environment.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.

ABOUT THE JOB!

As the Shipping/Receiving Group Lead, this position will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the stockroom. These activities include shipping materials, receiving, inventory handling, kitting, manufacturing floor replenishment, issuing supplies, tools, and equipment. Manages movement of finished goods and parts within the stockroom. This position will be responsible for leading shipping/material handlers within the team. Work schedule is a 9/80 work week, with every other Friday off..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs daily management of material handling, shipping, receiving, and data entry.
• Helps manage layout of stockroom considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping materials.
• Maintain and review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures.
• Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
• Process both customer and vendor returns as required
• Support cycle count program to determine Root Cause and implement Corrective Action for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records.
• Determines and documents work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
• Works with Buyers to resolve invoicing and receipt issues
• Manage department to planned budget
• Review and coordinates logistics on importing of goods with Supply Chain.
• Works closely with Sales/Customer service to support customer orders and requests
• Schedule flexibility to support critical deadlines may be required
• Other duties as assigned

• Highly organized

• Proactive approach to solving problems and implementing solutions.
• Able to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of UPS Tracking World Ship software, FedEx Ship Manager and MAPICS / INFOR a plus.
• Logistics experience in Import / Export

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
