E-SPACE – SPACE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING /
FULL-TIME

Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you’ve come to the right place!
At E-Space, we’re focused on bridging Earth and space with the world’s most sustainable low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network. We’re a team of bold thinkers, ambitious leaders and dynamic doers—and we’re disrupting NewSpace by fundamentally changing the design of legacy LEO space systems to deliver entirely new satellite capabilities at a fraction of the cost.
We’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed—to saving space, to protecting our planet and to turning connectivity into actionable intelligence.

What is the role?
The Structural Analyst will own the structural integrity of our satellite. The ideal candidate has In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and design solutions for aerospace structural designs. This person will be responsible for analyzing and validating our structural designs for both the launch environment, and on-orbit structural performance.
This position will support the Satellite Platform organization and will work cross-functionally to ensure that our spacecraft will maintain structural integrity throughout its lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be onsite based in our Los Gatos, CA office most of the time.

What you will do

    • Support new satellite structure designs by establishing structural performance criteria
    • Work closely with the design team to develop early pathfinder efforts and test campaigns
    • Perform analysis to demonstrate structural integrity and performance associated with deployments
    • Create and own the structural validation plan including analysis and test
    • Work closely with the mechanical design team to run iterative analyses, support design ideas, changes and improvements

Why you're the right candidate

    • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering
    • You have successfully performed static, modal, and random vibration analysis of a spacecraft
    • You have in-depth knowledge of validation techniques for structural builds
    • You have a solid understanding of spacecraft manufacturing methods and processes
    • You have in-depth knowledge of linear and non-linear static analysis for structural components, buckling, bolted joint, preload and fatigue
    • You are proficient in using Finite Element Analysis principles and associated tools
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
