PSYCHOLOGIST
Range $61,508-$110,416 annually with Employer-paid retirement, dependent upon previous experience
Terms of Employment: 9 Months or (Certified 185-day schedule + 25 days)
FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT, This is a salaried position assigned to the Licensed Employee Salary Schedule.
School site to be determined upon hire.
POSITION SUMMARY: The School Psychologist will assist students to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. They collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and other mental health professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students and strengthen connections between home and school. The School Psychologist will provide a full range of psychological services to children, including screening and assessment, designing remedial education programs, individual and group counseling with school staff, parents, and outside agencies as appropriate. The School Psychologist functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to determine the student's eligibility for special services, appropriate programming, and on-going progress.

COUNSELOR
Range $44,648-$80,130 annually with Employer-paid retirement, dependent upon previous experience
Terms of Employment: 9 Months or (Certified 185-day schedule + 5 days)
FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT, This is a salaried position assigned to the Licensed Employee Salary Schedule.
POSITION SUMMARY: The school counselor will implement the comprehensive guidance and counseling program according to the State of Nevada’s School Counseling Program Student Standards, which are aligned with the national standards set forth by the American School Counselors Association (ASCA). The employee, utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, will participate in a school-counseling program that promotes and enhances academic achievement, personal/social growth, and career development for all elementary students. This person will be expected to adhere to the LCSD Professional Standards for Licensed Employees as outlined in policy and the CBA and report directly to the school site administrator.

SPEECH THERAPIST

FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT, This is a salaried position assigned to the Licensed Employee Salary Schedule.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides diagnostic, remedial and consultative services for students with receptive/expressive communicative disorders. The SLP participates as a member of the special services and academic multidisciplinary teams.
