Job Title: Supervisor I

Dept: Investor Accounting

Full Time 37.5 hours

Job Overview

Monitor and prioritize day to day FHLMC operations to ensure the expediting of workload completion including issue resolution. Track workload using performance metrics and checklists to ensure reporting is accurate and complete. Notify management of workload process delays and staffing performance issues to ensure the FHLMC reporting area is properly staffed.

Essential Functions:

  • Track daily workload using performance metrics and checklists
  • Ensure reporting/remitting performance targets are met for FHLMC team
  • Work with staff to resolve issues including reporting exceptions
  • Assist staff with prioritizing daily workload
  • Assist staff with responding to clients on issues
  • Act as mentor / trainer for FHLMC team
  • Assist with ensuring conversion data and structure are set up correctly on MSP
  • Communicate to management issues with reporting/remitting including issue resolution
  • Work with other departments to resolve internal issues regarding FHLMC reporting
  • Observe and report training needs in FHLMC area to management

Requirements:

  • Accounting degree, or equivalent related experience
  • Previous investor reporting experience required
  • Supervisory experience is a Plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and Word required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent organization skills
