The Supervisor Warehouse is responsible for shipping and receiving activities under the direction of the Warehouse Manager to optimize costs to achieve AOP VDC & FPC targets, ensure compliance with Del Monte Policies and Procedures which include Good Manufacturing Practices, Employee Safety, Quality, and Food Safety Systems.

The salary range for this role is: $61,152 - $100,880.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise hourly employee's staff to achieve AOP shipping and receiving targets.
  • Supervise shipping activities to trade and transfer. Ensure orders are completed in a timely, efficient, andquality manner on by working in close conjunction with the Warehouse Management, the Corporate and Region Customer Service Teams.
  • Maintain effective employee relations to improve motivation and productivity through the use of continuousimprovement and lean manufacturing concepts. Maximize the use of personnel.
  • Utilize GMP, Safety, and Environmental programs to ensure that Del Monte, State and Federal requirementsare achieved.
  • Maintain a good pre-shipment inspection program to prevent incorrect stock shipments.
  • Participate in the annual physical finished goods inventory in conjunction with Inventory Control Supervisor.
  • Ensure product safety through development, review, and enforcement of company policy.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and corporate food safety regulatory standards.
  • Review and enforce company quality standards provided by facility, regional and corporate quality authorities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or other Natural Science degrees preferred.
  • Technical Degree in Distribution, Logistics, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, & Transportation is highly preferred
  • 3-5 years of shipping and receiving experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss
  • Knowledge of GMP's, HACCP, and GFSI programs (BRCGS, SQF)
  • Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety
  • Ability to distinguish normal/abnormal
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in a food-processing or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and employment history.
  • A self-motivated individual that is able to multi-task and lead others.
