• The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Integrated Quality team is seeking an Associate Supplier Quality Specialist based in Richmond, VA.
  

• This position is located in the Richmond, VA area and requires on-site support of multiple suppliers. This is an autonomous position, therefore, the candidate must have the ability to work from home or a supplier location.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists with audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
• Documents audit and assessment results. Inspects or verifies less complex products for compliance.
• Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues.
• This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.

• 
  This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ year experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
• Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
• Experience in quality inspection and/or auditing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Experience working with regulatory requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel and Power Point
• Experience in the Aerospace Industry

Typical Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
