Position Title: 1.0 World Language Teacher
Brief Description: DeWitt Middle is seeking an exceptional world language teacher to work collaboratively with middle school students to expose them to language acquisition and culture through use of differentiated instruction based on the ACTFL standards. Work with department and school leaders to support high school credit acquisition prior to entry into 9th grade and create anti-racist learning experiences through culturally relevant pedagogy.

Required Qualifications:

All candidates must be in possession of (or have proof of eligibility for) New York State Teacher certification in German, French, Spanish or Chinese; dual certification preferred. This requires at least a Bachelor's degree. Licensed teachers from other states may qualify for reciprocity.

Salary Range: $51,241-$73,141 (10-month full-time base)
