Timpte is growing and looking for a Tool & Die Technician at our David City, NE Manufacturing Facility. In this role, you will operate equipment such as mills, lathes, saws, grinders, drilling machines, mig/tig welders for the purpose of repairing dies, fixtures, tools, and machinery.
PAY for this position is up to $26/hr (depending upon experience) + Monthly Bonus! Timpte also has GREAT BENEFITS- Health, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, 401K Match, NO Weekends and SO MUCH MORE!!
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve dies, fixtures, tools, and machinery.
- Fabricate and assemble new or modified components or assemblies needing repair, such as industrial fixtures, equipment, machinery, and tools.
- Apply knowledge of mechanical technology under direction of Management Personnel.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
- Must possess a Technical degree in related field or 2-3 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs; including Word, Excel, etc.
- Must be able to read blueprints, use measuring equipment and interpret technical specifications.
- Ability to weld aluminum and steel materials.
- Experience in 3D CAD is a plus.
