Job description
The Sharon Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Out of District Coordinator.The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of the Special Education Regulations, the IEP process as well as the re-evaluation process. The OOD Coordinator is the liaison between the out of district school, the Sharon School District and the family.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
IEP Development,
Placement monitoring,
Facilitation of Team meetings,
Communication with the school placement and the student's family,
Collaboration between the district and the school program as necessary
Support in district IEP team process as necessary
The Out of District Coordinator is the Sharon Public Schools representative at all team meetings for students placed by the district in alternative settings. Strong organizational and oral and written communication skills required.
DESE licensure as Special Education Administrator- All levels required. At least 3 years related experience preferred.
Salary range $70,000 - $80,000 based on experience
