Relocated to Michigan in 2015, Harloff Manufacturing Company has experienced 6x growth in the past 36 months as a dedicated manufacturer of utility scale solar racking systems (photovoltaic solar) and several other proprietary products. Our primary processes are sheet metal coil stamping, roll forming, and hand assembly. We are headquartered in Paw Paw, MI. We manufacture and distribute product to the contiguous United States.
Our Company is seeking a Material Handler to help process incoming shipments and assist in the shipping of products. The Material Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, and processing shipments using proper safety procedures. The Material Handler will also be responsible for labeling, packing, shelving and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. A successful candidate for this position can be relied upon to work independently and complete daily tasks in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Move objects around a warehouse or factory
- Keep records of objects moved and their destinations
- Use a forklift to move heavy objects
- Identify and store fragile objects for shipment
- Utilize scanning technology to ensure correct products are picked, and inventory is kept updated
- Work with a team to keep production lines running at all times
- Load and unload raw material and finished goods from production lines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
