The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to support pre- and post-award DoD contracts? You know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to a clients’ missions. As a DoD Acquisition Management Professional, you’ll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. We’re looking for someone like you to lead a team of experts and be a liaison to the government.

This is an opportunity to directly influence and impact our country’s defense acquisition and contracts process. As a DoD Acquisition Management Professional, you’ll work on middle-tier acquisitions, Other Transaction Authority (OTA), and software acquisition contracts. You’ll oversee the development of procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll lead meaningful acquisition support.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in DoD acquisition planning and program management
  • Experience analyzing and tailoring statutory and regulatory policies to ensure compliance, including Middle-Tier Acquisition and OTA
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
  • Experience with project management life cycle and leadership
  • Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience integrating between space and ground segments
  • 2+ years of experience with EHF terminals
  • 2+ years of experience working with Risk Management Framework to define cyber requirements for space and ground segments
  • Experience with military SATCOM systems
  • Experience developing and validating system and ICD requirements for complex SATCOM Systems of Systems
  • Experience tailoring, developing, and coordinating ACAT 1D Milestone B documentation
  • Experience with Space Systems Command programs, including the ground systems and satellite vehicle development
  • Possession of strong leadership skills
  • Master's degree
  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level I or higher Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
