ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The successful candidate will bring to the team excellent communication and organizational skills and assist in all administrative functions that keep our collaborative and progressive department running smoothly. This candidate will take ownership of their work and feel pride in their accomplishments, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and proactive in finding resolution and cohesion in our fast-paced office environment.
This position will provide administrative support to the department, County government officials and constituents. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings and managing calendars, attending meetings and note taking, coordinating travel arrangements and travel reimbursements, proofreading and editing correspondence and answer telephones and customer service requests. This position is also responsible for P-Card transactions in accordance with County policy.


MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience.

PREFERENCES:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize their workload. Experience proofreading and editing professional documents. Experience working in Microsoft Office to include scheduling both in-person and virtual meetings, upkeeping logs and records in Excel and formatting professional documentation using Microsoft Word and Adobe.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Standard Business Hours. Monday-Friday 8:30 – 5:00

ENTRY SALARY RANGE:
23.67 Per Hour - $35.51 Per Hour
