Job description
- Interviews and obtains all admitting information.
- Verifies insurance initiates certifications and inputs plan codes.
- Obtains and analyzes financial information.
- Collects signatures and distributes hospital state and federally Mandated literature
- Collects admission deposits and co-payments.
- Mails discharge and lien letters using Microsoft Word templates.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: None required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
