Job description

Busy small domestic relations/family law firm located in downtown Lowell seeking a full-time associate attorney to join our practice. The candidate will need to be able to process a case from consultation to Judgment. Duties and responsibilities will include client communication/management, case analysis, research, drafting letters, discovery, and pleadings as well as clerical and administrative tasks (answering telephones, scanning and copying files, organizing and updating of case files). The position requires reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to Middlesex, Essex, Worcester, Suffolk, and Norfolk counties for Court appearances when appropriate, based upon experience. Licensure in NH is a plus along with willingness to travel to Southern, NH for Court appearances/meetings.

Candidates must be detail-oriented and produce work in an accurate and timely manner. Must be self-motivated, outgoing, friendly, reliable and flexible, and have a positive, team focused attitude. Candidate will have the opportunity to gain Family Law litigation experience working closely with direct supervision and guidance by experienced family law attorneys each with 20+ years experience.
