Job description

Beach attendants are responsible for setting up and breaking down beach rental items for our hotel guests. Attendants are responsible for charging and collecting payment for rented equipment. This is an outside job and requires some heavy lifting and pulling. There is a beach hut with shade to sit while equipment is rented out.

Beach rentals run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Be on time, follow uniform guidelines, and greet customers.
• Set up beach chairs and umbrellas for paying hotel guests, using safe and secure standards.
• Process all payments for rentals, maintain all rental slips, and turn in paperwork as directed.
• Assist guests on beach as needed.
• Complete all opening and closing procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs, walk in sand, walk in the sun for several hours at the time, possess good customer skills. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Comply with department uniform and appearance standards. Must be capable to read, write and speak English fluently .
