The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, managing and executing cross-channel marketing strategies, partnership and event activations and curated communications that deliver the brand’s value proposition to the consumer across a wide array of marketing channels and initiatives. This position affords a unique opportunity to flex both creative and analytical lines of thinking to holistically develop captivating marketing campaigns to generate new business, create marketing new real estate leads, expand member benefits, and drive sales revenue. This position will work closely with the VP of Marketing to create and leverage our strategic partnerships, create sponsorship opportunities, execute events, and create public relations narratives across the South Street Partners developments as well as new and special projects as needed. The Brand Marketing Manager will have the opportunity to strategize, but also will dive deep into the details and execute. The Brand Marketing Manager will also perform specific administrative duties, as well as work on team building initiatives and special projects to assist the effectiveness of the VP of Marketing.

This is a visible role within the marketing, sales, clubs, and leadership teams. Candidate should be great at generating and maintaining impactful relationships as well as positive, organized, proactive, flexible, and have great communication skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help to execute overall partnership, pr and event marketing strategies and special projects across entire portfolio of properties as directed by the VP of Marketing.
  • Create and execute cross-functional integrated marketing programs to ensure brand/messaging integrity and lead acquisition across all areas including but not limited to real estate marketing, club membership marketing, events, golf and corporate initiatives. Develop traditional print and digital marketing plans and campaigns that are powerful, memorable, and drive revenue.
  • Work with VP to oversee execution of public relations strategy. Work with PR agency and internal team on relevant and newsworthy public relations angles. Collaborate and strategize with PR team on hosting media and trips from pre to post arrival. Assist with PR by providing members, statistics, homes and content for pitches and articles. Oversee all press kits content and assist with editing of press releases.
  • Manage strategic events and projects as assigned or approved by the VP. Provide strategy, project planning, budgets, agendas, itineraries, action items, assignments, timelines, critical paths, execution, billing/reconciliation, and other deliverables as appropriate. Serve as a liaison on behalf of marketing to ensure each event offers the opportunity to learn more about real estate and membership opportunities. Works with property teams on both onsite and offsite events and leverage cross- promotional marketing opportunities with golf and club teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and VP to structure an effective strategy, marketing plan and budget for partnerships. Leverage partnership through various channels and work with teams at properties to implement partnerships. Assist with experiential/ media visits as needed.
  • Leverage marketing and lead acquisition opportunities within the organizations charitable giving strategy and sponsorship program.
  • Work with various editors of property magazines to strategize content as well as distribution through brand partnerships on a local and national level where appropriate.
  • Attend weekly marketing, sales, club and development meetings as needed. Serve as a consistent liaison on next steps and that goals are being met.
  • Work with VP of Marketing on budgets, billing and financial reporting as well as special presentations.
  • Assist with content for all social media channels.
  • Assist with photography and video shoots, help with scheduling and management of assets.
  • Provide training and guidance for all new hires on brand positioning. Work with human resources department to make sure all training materials and processes represent current brand positioning.
  • Help with administrative duties to support VP including but not limited to expense reports, billing, calendar and scheduling management, company meetings and events, travel arrangements, and supporting activities for teams.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • College Degree in marketing, business, or another related field required.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Proficiency in MS Office products to include Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
  • Professional phone skills with excellent customer service.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Constant and close visual work at desk or computer.
  • Constant sitting and working at desk.
  • Frequent verbal and written communication with staff and other business associates by telephone, video, correspondence, or in person.
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing between 0 and 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift.
  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail.
  • Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
  • Must be available to travel on occasion to locations for training and/or conferences for future educational development as well as travel to offsite sales & marketing events.
