Applicants must be 21+ to be considered for this position. Cannabis packagers serve on a team, with both individual and collective group responsibilities. This position will work alongside other team members under the supervision of the General Manager. Hours for this position will typically be 8AM – 4PM (Day Shift) and 4PM-10PM (Night Shift), Monday through Friday. With possible Sunday Shifts available 8AM-2PM.

• Packagers are responsible for distributing products into containers and weighing and labeling the products appropriately. They perform final checks for defective product and ensure all items make it through the final inspection.

• As one of the last checkpoints between purchaser and consumer, Packagers carry out several crucial tasks. They must guarantee that all products are of proper quality. Any defective products must be discarded according to company practices.

• Packagers place completed products into packages and prepare them for shipment by weighing, labeling, and documenting data about each package. Packagers must then guarantee that the packaged products make it to their designated locations, such as loading zones or into inventory. Packagers must be careful in their job. Attention to detail is vital.

• Packagers are responsible for guaranteeing that products make it safely to their destinations. They must securely seal each package. They must be able to use hand tools, adhesives, cushioning, and other materials to protect the products. Packagers must keep a tidy work area and comply with all company safety requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage

2. Follow all company regulations regarding packaging

3. Identify and dispose of defective items

4. Safely use packaging materials, including hand tools, machinery, and equipment

5. Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse

6. Maintain a clean work area

7. Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred

8. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

9. Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members

Schedule: 8-hour shift (day shift) & 6-Hour shift (night shift), Monday to Friday, Some Weekends, Ability to Commute to Sacramento
