Job Description

JWF Industries, a certified small business and privately-owned manufacturer, is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to join their elite team at their Iron Street location in Johnstown, PA. Enjoy working alongside highly skilled welders and machinists in a clean, well-lit, well-organized shop with the latest technology.

Essential Duties

Primary accountability is in support of projects to assure quality parts to the customer.

Will facilitate problem-solving and issue resolution through formal documentation; experience managing projects, performing data analysis, improving work processes is necessary.

Education Level

Active CWI credential required

Experience

• Experience in a metal manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and comprehend complex diagrams, blue-prints, weld symbols, and written/verbal instructions
• General knowledge of quality inspection tools (micrometers/calipers)

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms, including reaching overhead and outward frequently. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee will frequently lift and/ or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
