Construction Foreman - Job description

Reliant Construction, Inc. is a well Established Residential and Commercial Company serving Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, and Surrounding Counties is searching for a Full-Time Construction Foreman to join our busy team. You will work on job sites, and report directly to the General Contractor and in office support staff.

This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will collaborate with various people, such as construction laborers, county officials, sub-contractors, site owners, etc..

If you are organized, able to work well under pressure, enjoy wearing many hats, and have experience in this field, we would like to meet you.

Essential Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate Tasks According to Priorities and Plans
• Produce Schedule and Monitor Attendance of Crews
• Allocate General and Daily Responsibilities
• Supervise and Train Workers and Tradespeople
• Ensure Manpower and resources are adequate
• Guarantee all Safety Precautions and Quality Standards are met
• Supervise the Use of Machinery and Equipment
• Monitor Expenditures and Ensure they remain on budget
• Resolve Problems when they arise
• Report on Progress to GC and in office Support Staff

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid CA Driver License
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 80 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
• Proven Experience as a Construction Foreman
• In-depth Knowledge of Construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
• Excellent Organizational and Leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Aptitude in Math
• Problem-solving abilities
• High School diploma or diploma in skilled trade
• Must have own basic tools and reliable transportation- van/truck
• Must pass a drug test, hold a valid driver’s license, provide own cell phone

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Home Depot Pro Rewards
• Experience with Divvy
• 5 to 10 years of Residential or Commercial Foreman Construction experience especially in; Framing, Drywall, Flooring, and/or Finishes.

Daily Availability:
Monday-Friday
8 AM - 5 PM PST
Some Weekends (As Needed/Available)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $39.00 per hour
