Holley, the largest and fastest growing group of performance brands in the performance automotive aftermarket, is looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager

The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing Holley’s digital publication Motor Life, along with contributing written content across the marketing organization. The ideal candidate must have a firm understanding of technical products (ideally, automotive) and have strong grammar skills, preferably coming from an existing content marketing role or as a magazine/website Editor. Working within our existing freelance pool, manage assignments within the buyout budget, copy edit, layout, and publishing to Holley’s web platform. Content will include those driven by SEO demand, to support new product launches, FAQ, buyer’s guides, occasional car features, and more. Lead on-site content generation at Holley’s owned events.

Work cross functionally between marketing, product management, and engineering to gather the needed information. Leverage product imagery, video studio, engineering, graphic designers, customer service leads, and other internal stakeholders to gather content ideas and assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the Editor of Holley’s company digital publication – Motor Life
  • Manage a freelance pool, editorial calendar, and buyout budget to create engaging, technical, and informative stories
  • With a high level of accuracy and quality, verify story concepts meet the intended end result, are copy edited, laid out, and published through the WYSIWYG Holley backend publishing platform.
  • Work with social media team to promote content, publish to applicable product pages, and update according YouTube video short descriptions.
  • Work with internal marketing stakeholders to generate content used for E-mail workflows, ads, web merchandising, and more
  • Setting benchmarks, measuring, and optimizing performance of content as it relates to product sales
  • Assist the Director of Merchandising and Marketing with campaign launch messaging and materials
  • Continuously monitor the market and competitors by identifying new range content marketing techniques and features in order to stay on top of the competition
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years professional experience related to Online Content Editing, Magazine Editing, Publishing, Content Management, or other related fields
  • Very strong technical writing and grammar
  • Strong photography and photo editing skills are a plus
  • Able to work from our Bowling Green, KY facility or flex schedule commute from Nashville or surrounding areas. Fully remote work will be considered for highly qualified individuals
  • A strong understanding of technical products, preferably in the automotive aftermarket, is required
  • Experience in creating and editing web content through a content management system
  • Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Analytics, and how digital media channels can be supported by content
