We are searching for a Credentialing Specialist to coordinate the medical staff services provisional and reappointment credentialing and privileging process for the Southcoast Health System and Southcoast Health Network. Coordinate third-party payer credentialing and re-credentialing as outlined by our payer contracts for the Southcoast Health System and Southcoast Health Network. Responsible for the coordination of Medical Staff committees and meetings. Ensure data security and professional confidentiality standards are met. Perform daily functions and projects as assigned by the Director of Medical Staff Services. Does not provide supervision to others; responsible for own work.

• Hours: 32hrs
• Shift: Day shift; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist is required within 3 years of eligibility
• Minimum three years related experience required

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus and provide required vaccination documentation unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
