Position: Custodian/Maintenace

Long-term temp position: Pay Rate $16.00 per hour

Full-time 40 hours per week (No Overtime)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Off Saturday/Off Sunday)

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. General maintenance and custodial tasks such as: Sweeping, cleaning, manual labor such as disposing of wooden pallets, cleaning empty shipping containers/trailers, cleaning bathrooms, minor building repairs, painting, pick up trash from parking lot, pick up tree branches and leaves from parking lot, operate electric floor scrubber/sweeper, operate electric Pack Mule Cart, empty garbage cans, maintain shipping yard safety standards and cleanliness.

2. Scrap wood projects: dispose of damaged shipping pallets, repair shipping pallets, organize scrap wood supplies.

3. Cleaning Supplies: order, maintain, organize cleaning supplies for both warehouse and office areas.

4. Other general maintenance, janitorial, and cleaning duties as assigned by management.

5. This is a temporary position, with an estimated assignment time of 6 to 12 months, depending on the needs of the business, however, there is no guarantee of a permanent employment position. As such, no additional benefits (medical/dental/vision insurance, sick time, holiday pay, Vacation/PTO) will be provided.

Basic Qualifications:

- Stable/steady work-history of 2+ years at same employer.

- Knowledge of building maintenance and general carpentry repairs.

- Desire to come to work every day on-time and a strong work ethic.

- Ability to follow detailed instructions.

- 100% fully bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish

- A team-player with a positive outlook and friendly demeanor
