Madruga Bakery, located in Coral Gables, is seeking an experienced line cook to join our team. We are a neighborhood bakery and cafe dedicated to creating delicious baked goods, breads, and lunch and breakfast fare using the best ingredients we can find. We make everything in house from scratch. Equally, we strive to create an incredible guest experience and provide genuine customer service and hospitality. We are looking for a new team member who will take part in crafting our breakfast and lunch items made to order, as well as performing prep work.

This is a daytime position with early morning and daytime shifts.

The ideal candidate would bring the following:

-A passion for food
-Experience working on the line a food service establishment
-Ability to work well under pressure
-The ability to be professional, consistent, and take responsibility seriously
-A hard worker with a sense of urgency
-A positive attitude and ability to work well with others

Job responsibilities include:

-Working the line and preparing menu items to order, ensuring quality standards and consistency, and time management
-Doing prep work, making a number of items from scratch
-Ensuring station is clean, and maintain cleanliness standards while working
-Setting up and breaking down the line
-working with a team to ensure all orders are completed accurately and efficiently
