Bluestone Environmental Group, Inc. (Bluestone) is seeking a junior environmental scientist.

This position will entail implementing various environmental regulatory programs (RCRA, CAA, CWA, etc…). The successful candidate must be a self-starter with an extremely high attention to detail. Responsibilities will include:

· Providing support to wide-ranging environmental programs including the following:

o RCRA

o CWA (MS4 and NPDES)

o CAA

o EMS

o NEPA

o Natural Resource Management

· Performing field work in support of the following activities:

o Multi- Media Environmental Sample Collection

o Oversight of subcontractors

· Developing Project Plans

· Summarizing completed activities

Additional activities are likely to include data compilation, technical writing, and regulatory documents/regulations review. This position will require being present on site each day at a Federal Facility in Devens, MA.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Environmental Science Engineering or related major.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.

· 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training preferred

· Experience using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Technical writing skills

· Ability to work on a military installation is required

· U.S. Citizenship

· RCRA Hazardous Waste Generator & DOT Basic HazMat Certification preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
