We are looking for a team player to join our small family of caregivers. The hours we work are listed below. Your schedule would depend on your availability and how we can work together to make the schedule work as a team. One of our caregivers is going on maternity leave July 10th-September 10th and extra hours will be available during this time as well! Ideal candidate is flexible, a good communicator, and would be willing to pick up shifts in emergencies if needed.

Part time

Day shift 9:30 am- 3:00pm

Evening shift 8pm-midnight

Some split shifts

Weekends off

Looking for mature woman who is dependable, detail oriented, has initiative to self start tasks, positive energy, while caring for needs of client. Likes to have fun and be out and about staying busy with client. Enjoys a good laugh, and is intuitive to others feelings.

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Middle aged female client has ALS and is wheelchair bound. Client is mostly self-sufficient and independent; needs assistance with daily ADLs, meal prep. Assistance needed for showers and personal grooming. G-tube experience not required; but a plus.

We staff a team of 4 employees that allows us to provide care for her when she needs it most. We're looking for someone who can aid in helping to create a fun and nurturing environment, while making life a little bit easier and more enjoyable for her as she works through this unexpected chapter of her life. Our care team is treated like an extension of our family and most members of our team have been with us for the long haul. The most important part of finding the right employee for us is that your personality and experience fit the needs of our client and team. Client is a special person with a great spirit! She enjoys sewing, quilting, pottery, enjoying time out in the sun, and spending time with friends and family.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: We're looking to hire a caregiver that can fulfill the shift requirements, and perform the duties and responsibilities listed below. They agree to perform the following duties as a requirement of their employment:

· Caring for Luckie, 11 yr old friendly lab, pet friendly a must!

· Bathing/dressing

· Meal preparation/cooking

· Light housekeeping/laundry

· Crafts and sewing projects

· Mobility assistance/transfers

· Companionship

· Transportation

· Shopping/errands

· Activities and physical therapy stretches

· Hands on care/grooming

· Medical equipment cleaning and maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

· Must be patient and friendly and local to Hillsboro/Beaverton area

· Must be 18 years or older

· Must have flexible schedule and be willing to cover shifts outside of their regular scheduled days on occasion

· Must be able to lift 40lbs+

· Ability to pass a drug and background check

· Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

· Ability to communicate effectively with family and other staff in a friendly and congenial manner.

· Can maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment.

· Ability to work independently and has great initiative

· Very caring, passionate, and dependable person, who is people oriented.

· Must be able to handle and address emergency situations appropriately.
