Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is to lead the North American Process Architecture Team. The role will set the standard for mapping and continuous improvement tools and approaches. Accurately creating and maintaining process maps and accompanying documentation to support project delivery and opportunity identification.

  • Delivery into projects on time to scope
  • Identify and quantify, self-generated opportunities
  • Delivery process design analysis to support the improvement opportunity idea supporting the delivery of
    • AOP plan (budget delivery)
    • Acquisition Business Cases
    • Growth Program

    • Customer retention

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Chair and coordinate the Process Change Control board for all process changes across Rentokil Initial North America
  • Develop core capabilities with the team of Process Architects
  • Lead a team of Process Architects, enforcing consistency and standardizing processes across the team, company and the broader project management organization.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement in Process design, analysis, discipline, and approach to improve the techniques and disciplines within the Process Architecture team so improving its contribution to business performance improvement.
  • Maintain and manage the repository for all process maps to ensure maps become a useful resource to both project teams and the business at large.
  • Implement control processes and practices in order for the full impacts of up-stream and downstream are articulated, understood and acted upon in a process change activity
  • Drive adoption of best-in-class process analysis approaches to suit specific project needs including Value Stream Mapping, six-sigma analysis, fishbone, five why, Pareto, etc.
  • Drive collaboration and coordination with functions across the business to facilitate the understanding of the total value streams within the business.
  • Lead awareness and communication of the importance of process thinking and design to grow support and awareness throughout the business

CANDIDATE SUMMARY
Required Experience:
  • Five or more years of experience in running a process improvement team, 10 years or more of running individual process improvement projects
  • Experience in reporting out on process improvement opportunities at all levels of the organization
  • Leadership and development of a team responsible for the delivery of process improvement analysis

  • Outstanding communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels with a range of internal and external stakeholders including customers, employees, and suppliers as required
  • Able to demonstrate strong levels of drive, work ethic and personal accountability with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining sound judgment and a rigorous focus on the details
  • Acts with the highest standards of integrity at all times and builds enduring as well as trusting relationships across all key stakeholders
  • Promote and practice a continuous improvement mindset that uses data and analysis to identify opportunities front the straightforward to novel concepts

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Project Management or related subject
Master’s Degree preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

Incumbent will be subject to:
  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
