Job description

We are are a local indoor, vertical, hydroponic farm specializing in microgreens, herbs, leafy greens and edible flowers. We are growing quickly and looking for someone to work at least 4-6 hours a day but open to more as a dishwasher and tray prep- meaning you'd take freshly cleaned gardening pots and fill them with dirt for our team to use to plant more plants!

This is perfect for someone who wants to put in some headphones, listed to music, zone out and focus on a single task for long periods of time on your own. We are very sensitive to this job being done well because in our business dirty pots means contamination to our plants later on. So thorough cleaning is a must. Although we'd like someone to be doing this nearly full time, we recognize it is a difficult job to do for too long (on your feet, dishwashing for hours) but need someone for a minimum of (part time) four hours a day for 3-4 days a week. Normal day shifts are 4-6hours. NOT REQUIRED: I am also open if you'd like to gain more paid hours if you are interested in more cleaning tasks like sweeping/mopping, cleaning bathrooms, etc.

We do use diluted bleach in our washing process- but it is a small amount and is considered non-toxic at that dilution level by the FDA.

6hr+ days include a paid 20 minute lunch.

Must be able to be on your feet for the majority of a shift, lift 10lbs.
