What will you be doing:
The EDI Data Analyst has responsibility over EDI applications platform and will support the technical operation requirements for our health plans and providers by coordinating file exchanges, analyzing and adjusting data, producing progress reports and ensuring timely and accurate submission of EDI transactions. This role will engage both our internal development team and external clients to discuss requirements and error correction.
Essential competencies include:
Production Support, Business Analysis, Project Management
What will you need to be successful in the role:
- 5 years with healthcare related EDI transaction experience; recent in-depth knowledge and experience of the 5010 837 (incoming claims & outgoing encounters), 834, 835, 270/271 and 999/277CA acknowledgement transactions.
- 2 – 3 years of client facing and engagement with external customers
- Ability to analyze business systems, networking configurations, and data storage facilities.
- Ability to build customized data interchange systems for cross-company or department use.
- Knowledge of testing and debugging the system.
- Ability to gather user feedback on the accuracy, efficiency, and functionality of the system and deploying completed systems and providing maintenance support
- Experience training end-users on the proper use of the system.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability multitask in a fast pace environment
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
