WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintain compliant Process Safety Management Program
• Monitor and maintain OSHA compliance
• Conduct thorough incident investigations to include root cause analysis, providing recommendations for solutions and prevention of future accidents
• Investigate worker’s compensation and property damage incidents
• Identify trends and recommend solutions to reduce injuries and hazards
• Ensure accuracy and legal compliance with all safety requirements
• Contribute to the development of safety training programs and conduct all safety training for plant employees
• Maintain all safety equipment and supplies
• Provide timely reports to plant staff and management

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in safety field preferred and/or equivalent experience, education and training
• 3 to 5 years of experience in safety preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• OSHA 10-HR Certified, OSHA 30-HR within 6 months of hire
• CPR/AED/Firs Aid Certified, Instructor Certification preferred
