FLIP TEAM MEMBERNestldown is a nationally acclaimed event venue recognized for its gardens and is seeking a crew member to join our facilities team. Located in the Santa Cruz Mountains of the San Francisco Bay Area, Nestldown is a diverse property in a natural woodland setting; 180 acres in total includes 35-acres of carefully tended 4-season gardens. We are looking for an energetic capable person to help prepare Nestldown for our events. Doing jobs that will include a broad variety of tasks. They will include moving and setting out furniture to the plan for the day, setting up the facility spaces, light cleaning for the site/buildings/vehicles, driving the site vehicles, fixing paths as necessary, overseeing deliveries, helping to maintain our facilities, and occasional work in our world class gardens.
The type of person we are looking for must be dependable & smart, and able to work well in a team and as an individual without supervision. A big part of this job requires that they be able to interpret layouts, and really integrate the tasks necessary for the kind of event happening on that day. This is a fun, though challenging place to work!JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist with preparation for events
- General Cleaning, grounds beautification, and site preparation
- Friendly and communicative with entire team and customers
- Maintenance work; furniture refurbishing, painting, minor repairs, etc.
- Assist with maintaining our Ranch with heavy labor projects; Chainsaw clearing of brush, chipping, weeding, mowing, wood splitting & stacking, digging trenches, clearing drains, etc.
- Assist other Nestldown teams to ensure optimal guest experiences
- Be available to work weekends
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDED BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Energetic, good follow-through, and detail oriented
- Work well in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable to switching focus
- Work and function in a structured environment as well as independently
- Able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work: able to frequently lift/carry 35-50 pounds
- Positive, Good Communication & Customer Service Focus
- Feels responsible for overall site appearance, representation, and cleanliness
- A valid CA Drivers license
COMPENSATION:
- This is a full-time or part time hourly position working up to 30-40 hours per week starting at $20-25/hour

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
