The Team: The Facilities Maintenance Technician position is part of the American Girl DeForest distribution center team.

The Opportunity: American Girl is currently looking for a Temporary Facilities Maintenance Technician to work in our DeForest Distribution Center.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Utilize inventory, pm schedule and work order systems, and help maintain the spare parts/supply inventory
• General building maintenance activities include install and/or correct lighting fixtures, plumbing, carpentry, grounds upkeep, painting, hanging artwork and other wall displays
• Installation and reconfiguration of office furniture and layouts

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years facilities and or maintenance experience preferred
• Capability to drive company vehicle
• Ability to interact and work well with other team members, employees, and other departments
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe working environment
• Previous experience providing high-level customer service and high-quality work
• Superior problem solving skills
• Aptitude to deal with constant change, revisions and schedules
